In co-production with La Bâtie-Festival de Genève and with the participation of La Becque, Konnekt is particularly proud to be bringing Fushitsusha to Geneva. An exceptional experience, reflecting Konnekt’s artistic vision: to bring to life rare, daring projects that lie outside the usual circuits.
There are bands you simply listen to. And then there’s Fushitsusha, which sweeps over you like a storm. Since the late 1970s, Keiji Haino and his trio have been crafting a radical body of work in which rock, psychedelia, free improvisation and noise merge into a sonic experience of unrivalled intensity. Music that is lived as much as it is listened to.
Welcoming Fushitsusha to the Alhambra is a truly exceptional event, given how rare the band’s appearances in Europe are. The venue’s acoustics and scale will allow this extraordinary music to unfold to its full potential, for an evening that is already shaping up to be one of the highlights of the Konnekt season.

We are looking for 50 choir members to take part in the participatory performance BREATHCORE.

To mark the exhibition ‘Glass, Beyond the Material – The Cirva Collections’, the Ariana Museum and Konnekt are hosting musician and performer Michael Schmid to present BREATHCORE, a participatory performance centred on the breath, which will take place in the museum’s main hall. With no conductor or score, the BREATHCORE choir explores breath as a collective force: synchronisation, sharing and non-verbal communication. Open to everyone! No musical or performance experience is required.
